I always thrived on the thrilling tension and pressure of New York City.

The blend of strain, stress, and wildness created the perfect “squeeze” for my ideas and creativity to flourish.

I work best when something is pushing up against me in just the right way—whether it’s time or people!

Now that I’m living out of the city, where there is more than enough space, less people and not a whole lot of environmental pressure, I’ve felt out of my creative groove.

Without what used to be I’ve been left wondering, who I am and where do I go from here?

And I’m guessing we can all relate to this sentiment right now.

Who are we after this long ordeal of the pandemic and where do we go from here?

Personally, I’m working on creating from more ease, quiet and relaxation.

I’m learning how to surf from an entirely new wave with less tension and more calm.

It’s not always easy, but I feel myself expanding and growing in new ways.

It takes some effort to rediscover who you want to be moving forward. It’s a lot easier to complain about what’s not working and how things are not as they once were. But if you are willing to let go of what was, you may find something wonderful awaits you.
