The Mantra That Changed Everything

How To Decide What You Want

There Is No Wagon To Fall From. Only Life!

It stirs you up
Makes you uneasy
restless
longing
teasing, testing, torturing your soul
When will it come?
What must I do to bring it forth faster?
Who must I be?
Where oh where is it?
Waiting
Waiting
Waiting

Only to discover the real and very simple question
Are you waiting in faith or are you waiting in fear?
Now is the only moment.

Remembering that The Universe ALWAYS and CONTINUALLY responds to these desires with either

Yes.
Not right now.
Or something better.

So I respond, “Beautiful. Then I choose to faith.”

Yes.
Not right now.
Or something better.

Leave a comment if your feeling teased by your own desires. How do you like to deal?

In my business and personal life I have a sea of desires washing over me, getting me excited, making me anxious and scaring the sh*t out of me. This advice: Yes. Not right now. Or Something Better is perfect.

    I’m back.
    Thanks Air. xx

    • Erin says:

Yes. Surf those beautiful waves of desire. And when/if you fall off the board, Congratulations. I’m back. Let’s go for another.
      xx

  2. Melody says:

oh yeah, I have lots of desires! I know that desiring something is not enough, so I try to do one thing that will bring me closer to making it happen. Sometimes, along the way I realize that what I desired wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. I make a slight change in my course, but always thinking of what’s one thing I can do to get closer.

  3. Erin says:

I love that, Melody. I agree that is a perfect way to handle the feelings, What is one thing I CAN do. So powerful and effective!

  4. Marissa says:

    Waiting in fear or faith?
    BRILLIANT
    Faith please.

    Erin,
I love this! I read it 3 times and thought you are genius! I shared it with my class tonight and they loved it as well.
My desire keeps me focused, on a good day. it gives me my drive and a goal to work towards. I feel excited and can’t wait. On a “bad day” they make me doubt everything and anything. Will it happen? Am I good enough? Sometimes I wonder if I have enough desires and “what I should want next”?
    I will definitely adapt the
    Yes.
    Not right now.
    Or something better.
    It sums it up perfectly!!!
    Thank you.

    • Erin says:

Thanks Chantall! So glad you were able to share with your class. I don’t think we ever run out of desires for as long as we live. Sometimes we just need to dig around for them:)

  6. Jeannette says:

    LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I think I start all my comments to your posts like that 🙂

Girl you know I’ve been waiting in fear and self doubt but truth is I needed that waiting period to increase my faith muscles and get me into a place of “Yes I deserve this!”. Now that I’ve stepped up and things are unfolding (and how quickly they do when you couple faith with action!) I feel incredible and very confident. I need that confidence to make BIG things happen and without stepping into and through my fear and self doubt I honestly believe that I would still be on my bathroom floor crying asking what is wrong with me 🙂

Such a short post but it’s message is so impactful. Thank you for support me in my desires and of course you I know I have your back in ours 🙂

    • Erin says:

Yes Chica! I think taking action gives one more confidence. Thinking about taking action is sometimes scarier than the action itself:) Congrats on your BIG stuff!

  7. Jeannette says:

sorry meant to say I have your back in yours 🙂 Ooopsie!

  8. Karie says:

I have found that some of things things I want SO BAD aren’t actually meant for me at the time. I’m trying to wait in faith. It’s not always easy but I’m getting much better at identifying the things that might not be right for me at the moment instead of feeling disappointed or like a failure.

    Great post, Erin!

    • I agree with Karie, Air In! I have been really noticing (as I practice CI and really being present) that the things I want NOW are not necessarily good for me or might be better at another time. Faith, faith is my main practice right now. Feeling washed over in fear at times, but I try to ride it and just believe that I can do anything and that I am worthy. Great post, Erin!

  9. Diana says:

I love this post and it so resonates with me. Desire often bring a mix of emotions- excitement, pain, anxiety, confusion . . I love what you wrote: “Are you waiting in faith or are you waiting in fear?”

This reminds me of a few of my favorite quotes “every action is either out of fear or love” and “unutilized talent can be one of life’s greatest pains”

Waiting in faith and making decisions out of love, not fear!!

  10. It’s all about faith and PATIENCE. I’m good at the faith bit 🙂
