Going Beyond Great: Interview with Steph Jagger

Next week, I’m BEYOND giddy to be reviving one of my all time favorite programs. It’s been in the vault and it’s time to bust it out! Stay tuned for that announcement.

But first…

After I got engaged, I lost a lot of my worldly ambitions.

It wasn’t because marriage was my ultimate goal or anything, but something about my life at that time felt so whole and complete.

My business was growing, my family was healthy, my soon to be husband and I were healthy, we were so in love and it felt like I needed nothing more. (It still feels that way, truth be told!)

And while that was a good thing, it also felt like a conflict.

What happened to my go-getter ambition? Did I just no longer care?

I kept asking myself, “What more do I really need. I just feel so full.”

Nowadays, we hear so many stories of triumph from women who have been broken.

We see them hit rock bottom, broke, struggling and then hear how they rise up to build the life of their dreams.

While this is a wonderful and VERY important narrative, what about the stories of women who felt as though their lives were pretty good and yet STILL go on to do groundbreaking work?

Is it possible to create outstanding things in the world from a place of wholeness?

More importantly, how do YOU go from good to great and great to effing awesome?!

Today, I have a special interview for you.

It’s with my friend and author and coach, Steph Jagger.

Steph is a force of nature. Dissatisfied with the passive, limited roles she saw for women growing up, she emulated the men in her life—chasing success, climbing the corporate ladder, ticking the boxes, playing by the rules of a masculine ideal. She was accomplished. She was living “The Dream.” But it wasn’t her dream.

In her new book, Unbound: A Story of Snow and Self Discovery, Steph will inspire readers to remove their own restraining devices and pursue the life THEY are meant to lead.

In this interview, we discuss:

  • Why she left her nice life to ski around the world and what it taught her about living BIG.
  • How we can take our lives from good to great, and great to effing awesome.
  • What is the ONE thing you need to in order to figure out what your awesome looks like. (I LOOOOOVE this so much. It is everything to me!)

Everything we cover lines up perfectly with what I have in store for you next week. So don’t miss it!

Love,
Erin
