A Beginner’s Guide to Staying in the Moment

Today I shall be brief.

Mostly because I want to go out, Soul Stroll and soak in the rest of the summery air before it goes away. (Not yet!)

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, we don’t want summer to end and at the same time, we start to feel the pull of fall.

I don’t know about you, but my wheels start turning about all the things I want to do and create in the remainder of the year.

It’s hard to not want to push, push, push, especially if a little angst about “doing things” and “getting things done” start to creep in.

It’s important to remember that you are exactly where you need to be to do the very next thing.

It sounds simple, but it’s true.

Right here. Right now.

Lean into it. It’s all about staying in the moment.

Don’t push yourself into it.

Lean, sweetly into staying in the moment. Be present. Take your time. Go slow. Place one foot in front of the other. There is no need to rush.

You can say to yourself, “I am exactly where I need to be.”

“Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don’t think you’ve lost time. There is no short cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time.” –Asha Taylor

One of my favorite ways to lean into the moment is to literally walk into it.

Last week, I mentioned that I now have two volumes of the SOUL STROLL.

If you have ever wished that you could take an empowering and inspiring playlist with you while you worked out, walked or even commuted to work, I have you covered.

The Soul Stroll combines upbeat music with my inspiring mantras. I coach you ever step of the way so that you get out of your head, and right into where the good stuff lives.

Your heart.

Love,
Erin
