The Most Loving Thing I Have Ever Done

Happy Valentine’s Day.

Before I jump into anything here, I just want to tell you how much I love and appreciate you. I know there are a lot of things that come into your inbox. I am so honored to be a part of your life, even in the smallest way.

So today, whether you have a honey or you are rollin’ solo, please know, you are loved. And I am quite certain it is not just by me. But I am pouring some extra love into your cup today, because you deserve it.

Speaking of… I wanted to share one of the most LOVING things I have ever done for myself as well as a special gift towards the end of this post. Until I actually took this action, I would have NEVER thought it was an act of self-love.

About 3 years ago, I came out of a long-term relationship that I had put a lot of effort into. Around that same time, my Dad suffered a small stroke. Both events were pretty devastating.

I have always been a strong, independent lady and never believed I needed a man to make my life complete. So, I was shocked at what fear was kicked up inside of me when these two significant male relationships drastically and quickly changed.

What if I truly did end up going through life alone? What if I never found a partnership in which we took care of each other?

At the same time, I was just getting started with my coaching business, teaching my workout/workshop along with running my live Magical Manifesters courses. While it sounds like I had a lot going on with my business, I truthfully had no idea what I was doing.

I was either bold enough or crazy enough to just keep putting stuff out there in terms of programs and ideas, but I had no real systems. No structure. I felt like I was literally just making things up as I went along.

While this can be a fun way of doing things, it’s also really scary because I had to do a lot of experimenting to find out what really worked. But the worst part was that I kind of felt like a fraud.

I studied dance in college. I had a professional acting career. I was artist. I knew nothing about being an entrepreneur.  Who was I to run a business? Wasn’t that for people who, like had MBA’s and studied marketing or economics in college?

I remember being really scared. If there was even a shred of reality that I might be left to go through this life on my own, I better figure out a way to have a sustainable business that makes me money and makes me proud.

Around this time, I met a woman who would soon become one of the most significant business and personal mentors up to date, Marie Forleo.

I enrolled in one of Marie’s online programs.  It wasn’t cheap, but I felt like it was time for me to learn a thing or two about business.

After I finished that program, I applied to her year long Mastermind Program. Talk about not cheap! While it wasn’t quite the cost of grad school for one year, it was pretty damn close.

Up until that point in my life, I had never INVESTED that amount of money in myself. I went to a state school for college and a large part of it was covered by a dance scholarship. I drove a used car. I got the craziest deal on my apartment in New York. (A story for another time.) I lived paycheck to paycheck.

I had no idea what true abundance felt like and therefore I had no idea what it would feel like to invest that amount of money into my dreams and myself.

With the loving help of my family, I took the biggest act of self-love I have ever taken by enrolling in her program. I was basically saying, “I am worth it. I believe in me. I am worth this amount of money. My dreams are worth going after.”

The year spent with Marie and 25 other budding female business owners was LIFE CHANGING.

It is the reason I now run a successful business doing all the things I absolutely love. Marie taught me how to use my unique creativity and talents and pour them into a profitable venture that also happens to help people ALL OVER THE WORLD.

I can’t say enough wonderful words about her.

So, I now want to ask you two questions:

1) Is there a special and maybe even luxurious investment that you are afraid to make? Is it possible that if you made this investment, you might actually elevate yourself to a new level, simply because you now believe your worth it? It could be a yoga training, a trip, and a Herve Leger dress? (I will tell you that story soon, too.) What big, generous act of self-love can you take in the next few weeks?

2) Are you a solo entrepreneur who feels like you have something going, but you know it could be much more than what it is today?

If so, then I want to share with you some incredible, free business training videos Marie has released.

Watching Marie’s videos is like hangin’ out with your coolest girlfriend. She breaks it down so that you never feel like and idiot, all well having a great time.

I promise the information you get from these videos alone will make a difference in your business.

Soon, she will open the doors to her signature online program, BSCHOOL, where you will have the opportunity to learn EVERYTHING that it takes to grow an online business. (But you won’t have to take out a loan to do it.)

When she does open the cart for B SCHOOL, I will be offering a few VERY SPECIAL BONUSES when you enroll. Stay tuned, as I will be sharing those bonuses with you in a few days.

But for now, go ahead and grab your free trainings. Set aside some time to make this small investment in yourself. Even spending the time to learn something new so that you can live a fuller life is a generous act of SELF LOVE.

Here’s to having the sweetest day ever.

Loving you,
Erin
