VIDEO: Live from Omega with Jessica Ortner
I am writing to you from the week-long workshop/retreat I’m leading at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York.
My co-pilot is my gal pal Jessica Ortner. Together, we’re leading a group of terrific people through a wellness reboot. We’re exercising, doing EFT (tapping) and of course, it wouldn’t be a proper workshop without releasing a few tears!
Some people are working on weight-loss, while some people are simply working on setting better boundaries for themselves, which just so happens to contribute to successful weight-loss.
There’s something truly magical that happens when you simply leave your normal routine and give yourself the very special gift of space.
Space to breathe. Space to relax. Space to reflect. Space to move.
You just never know what discoveries you’ll make that will propel you forward when you give yourself that space.
While I’ve been traveling non stop the last three months, I have found that being out of my normal routine has created this kind of space in my life as well.
And I have definitely made some new discoveries.
One of my biggest discoveries is around movement.
I have not been teaching my classes at The Movement in NYC. I haven’t had the normal classes that I like to take available to me. I haven’t had a regular gym to attend. I haven’t even had a regular kitchen to cook my own food!
And last but not least, I haven’t had a consistent schedule that I can plan my workouts (or my life) around whatsoever. It’s been a pretty big free-for-all!
And while it has been unsettling at times, it’s also caused me to get extremely resourceful when it comes to moving my body.
As a result, I’ve been tuning in to my body on a much deeper level, and I’ve created some workouts that I’m finding not only bring me great joy and good energy, but are also keeping my body in beautiful alignment with strength and grace.
So this month, I’m going to be sharing a few of the workouts that I’ve been doing and I want you to give them a try!
