What is Shrink Session?

Each Shrink Session is a mix of cardio-dance, yoga, and kickboxing that makes double use of the time you dedicate to working out. The movements elevate your heart rate and tone your body while the mantras (positive affirmations) elevate your thinking.

Two well-researched principles from neuroscience help you develop a healthy relationship to fitness and tap fully into your power to create a body and life you love.

  • Rewiring through repetition: Repeating mantras has been shown to create new pathways in the brain, essentially wiping out old negative beliefs by overwriting them with new uplifting statements.
  • Positive Association: We are drawn to repeat things that are pleasurable. That’s why your workouts are set to upbeat music, include only encouragement and acceptance, and always acknowledge you for the effort you bring to your workout.

HOW ARE SHRINK SESSION
WORKOUTS DIFFERENT?

Shrink Session workouts use this powerful 4-step process:

The Shrink Session journey begins with you creating your INTENTION, which is simply a clearly defined outcome you’re ready to have in your life. Maybe you’re ready to call in your perfect partner, or a slew of high-paying clients, or the home of your dreams.  Whatever it is – you’ll clarify it and it will become the energetic focus of each Shrink Session.

Unless you’re a seasoned practitioner of affirmations, chances are you won’t initially believe the mantras we repeat together during each Shrink Session. You might even feel silly saying the words aloud, but trust the process. It’s important to let go of beliefs that no longer serve you. Speaking these new words increase your cardio output in the beginning and your energetic output once new beliefs form.

You gain confidence every time you take action, no matter how small. That’s why you get positive reinforcement whether you chose a 20 or 40-minute workout.  You’ll also be guided to make steps toward your Intention and to release the perception that things are hard, so they become easy to do.
